Joe Hill (writer)

Joseph Hillstrom King ( born June 3, 1972 in Hermon, Maine) is an American writer. His works are published under the pen name Joe Hill.

Life and work

Joseph Hillstrom King, son of Stephen and Tabitha King, grew up as the middle child of three children in Bangor. With the letter he began after college. Not to be immediately taken in conjunction with his prominent father, he published his works under the pen name Joe Hill.

For his published in numerous magazines and anthologies of short stories, he has already won several awards. He received, among others, the " Ray Bradbury Fellowship ", the " Bram Stoker Award " and the " World Fantasy Award." Appeared in 2007 with Heart- Shaped Box (German Blind ), his first novel. To this end, Hill received the 2008 " International Thriller Award " for best debut novel.

He is married and lives with his wife and three children in New Hampshire.
