Johannes Fallati

Johannes Baptista Fallati ( born March 15, 1809 in Hamburg, † October 5, 1855 in The Hague) was a German political economist and Professor of Political History and Statistics of the University of Tübingen.

Fallati studied law at the Universities of Tübingen and Heidelberg. After graduating, he got a job with the state administration of the Kingdom of Württemberg. In 1837 he returned as a lecturer returned to the University of Tübingen. Five years later he was promoted to full professor there in history and statistics.

More politically engaged, he also participated in the meeting and Gotha to the later efforts of his party for the Union in Württemberg.

Later Fallati returned as a professor in Tübingen and found in 1850 a position as head librarian at the university. During a trip to Amsterdam Fallati John died at the age of 46 years on October 5, 1855 in The Hague.
