John Carroll Lynch
John Carroll Lynch ( born August 1, 1963 in Boulder, Colorado ) is an American actor.
Life and achievements
Lynch grew up in Minneapolis. He studied at the University of Minnesota, he graduated with honors in theater acting at the Catholic University of America. Later he became a member of the prestigious Guthrie Theater Company in Minneapolis.
In the disaster movie Volcano ( 1997) played Lynch, along with Tommy Lee Jones and Anne Heche, in the film drama A Thousand Acres ( 1997), he starred opposite Jessica Lange, Michelle Pfeiffer and Jennifer Jason Leigh in one of the major roles on. In the thriller Mercury Rising (1998) he played the role of Martin Lynch, the father of murdered played by Miko Hughes Simon Lynch, the Art Jeffries ( Bruce Willis ) protected. In the comedy The Next Best Thing (2000) he played the role of the lawyer of Abbie Reynolds, who played Madonna. In the comedy The Good Girl (2002), in which he appeared alongside Jennifer Aniston and Jake Gyllenhaal, he played the role of the manager of a supermarket. In the years 1997 to 2003, he starred in the television series The Drew Carey Show. In the horror film Gothika (2003) he played the Sheriff Ryan.
Lynch is married to actress Brenda Wehle since 1997.
