John E. Sununu

John Edward Sununu ( born September 10, 1964 in Boston, Massachusetts) is an American politician.

Life

His father, John H. Sununu was the former Republican governor of New Hampshire. After leaving school, Sununu studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University in engineering and economics. After studying Sununu worked in the private sector.

From 7 January 1997 to January 3, 2003 was Sununu deputy in the House of Representatives of the United States. His successor in office was Jeb Bradley. From 3 January 2003 to January 3, 2009, Senator Sununu was in the Senate of the United States. On 4 November 2008 Sununu lost his re-election as Senator Jeanne Shaheen against the democratic politician. After his time as a Senator Sununu worked Holdings in the U.S. company ConvergEx.

Sununu is married to Kitty Sununu and has three children. He lives with his family in Waterville Valley, New Hampshire and is a member of the Catholic Church.
