John III, Duke of Saxe-Lauenburg

Johann III. of Saxe- Lauenburg (* 1335, † 1356) was from 1344 to 1356 Duke of Saxe- Lauenburg in the line Mölln and Bergedorf.

As the first-born Johann took over after the death of his father Albrecht IV of Saxe- Lauenburg the regency over the part Bergedorf - Mölln the duchy of Saxe - Lauenburg. Because he died childless in 1356, the regency passed to his younger brother Albert V of Saxe- Lauenburg. About special events during his reign are no reports.
