John Tebbutt

John Tebbutt ( born May 25, 1834 in Windsor, New South Wales, † November 29, 1916 ) was an Australian astronomer.

He discovered on May 13, 1861 Great Comets, who later received the designation C/1861 J1.

According to him, the lunar crater has been named Tebutt and also the 100 -dollar bill from Australia showed his portrait.
