Johnny Kelly

Johnny Kelly ( born March 9, 1968) was until its dissolution of the drummer for the American metal band Type O Negative. He also plays drums in the rock and metal bands Danzig, Seventh Void, Black Label Society and A pale horse named death

Career

Kelly was originally drum roadie and driver of the band Type O Negative. In 1994 he took over the vacant post and replaced drummer Sal Abruscato. Kelly then toured with Danzig since 2002, he also played on the 2010 studio album Deth Red Sabaoth published. Also in the All-Star Roadrunner United project he was involved in the play Blood and Flames.

After the death of Type O Negative frontman Peter Steele, 2010, the remaining members announced in an interview with Rock Hard magazine in November 2010 that the band has ceased to exist with Steele's death. However, Kelly co-founded with his Type -O- Negative colleagues Kenny Hickey, the band Seventh Void, with whom he toured in December 2010 in Europe together with Monster Magnet.

Kelly also plays the drums in a Led Zeppelin tribute band called Earl 's Court in February 2011 it was announced that Kelly Will Hunt replaced as drummer for Black Label Society for the remaining European tour. He first played live in Paris with the band. 2014 he joined the band Kill Devil Hill.
