Jonathan Boutin

Jonathan Boutin ( born March 28, 1985 in Granby, Quebec ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender. He currently plays as early as the 2009/10 season, when the Lusatian foxes.

Career

After several seasons in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League ( QMJHL ) for the Halifax Mooseheads, PEI Rocket and Quebec Remparts in 2005 he moved to the Springfield Falcons in the American Hockey League professional league, which served at the time as a farm team of the NHL clubs Phoenix Coyotes and Tampa Bay Lightning. Boutin also played for the Johnstown Chiefs, the farm team of the Springfield Falcons in the ECHL. After two seasons Boutin was transferred for a season to the AHL Norfolk Admirals team that were the farm team of the NHL teams Tampa Bay Lightning at this time.

After several changes in the season 2008/ 09 and 2009/10, which led him to the LNAH, he came to Germany and he played the 2009/10 season from December for the Lausitz foxes. First used as a substitute goalkeeper for the injured Ryan MacDonald, he was awarded with the end of the season awarded by the journal Hockey News jury Cup as goalkeeper of the year.

After a year at the Lillehammer IK in the Norwegian GET - ligaen, Boutin returned to the 2011/12 season in the second hockey league for the Lusatian foxes back. At the end of the season he was re-elected by the Hockey Experts at the best goalkeeper in the Bundesliga 2. In the 2012/13 season, he was elected for the third time to the goalkeeper of the year and extended his contract with the Lusatian foxes to 2 more years.
