Features

The moths reach a forewing length 15.5 to 17.0 mm in males and 11.5 mm in females. Head, thorax and abdomen are golden green, the legs bluish green. The forehead ( frons ) is about 1.5 times as wide as the compound eyes. The sensors are bluish green, the Fühlerkämmung is four to five times as long as the width of the probe shaft. The sensors consist of 35 to 37 segments. The front wing tops are light green to golden interspersed. The rear upper wing surface and the bottoms are light gray. The females are much smaller than the males and have much more rounded wings.

In the male the uncus is slender, the Valven are long and slender and have a short triangular ventral extension. The aedeagus is straight, thickened and has a very large and wide Cornutus.

In females, the ostium is as wide as the strongly sclerotized antrum, which is formed into a large bag. The ductus bursae narrows abruptly and is bent spirally at right angles in one third of Antrumlänge. The corpus bursae is small.

Similar Species

Jordanita volgensis and Jordanita notata come before sympatric with J. kurdica. These types are very similar, but can be distinguished genitalmorphologisch.

Dissemination

The species is native to southeastern Turkey and western Iran.

Over the life of the species is so far not known.
