Josep " Pep " Clotet Ruiz ( born April 28, 1977 in Igualada ) is a Spanish football coach. First, active mainly in the Spanish youth football, he worked from 2010 in the Northern European professional football.

Career

Ruiz played in youth football, after an injury at the age of 18 years he started his coaching career as a youth coach in the Catalan Football. While he was academically grappled with the football and its coach education drove forward, he was responsible for the youth teams of CF Iguala, UD Cornella and from 2004 of the Espanyol Barcelona. In 2006 he took the U-18 team of the club, the Catalan Championship. As a result, he was briefly head coach of unterklassig antretenden UE Figueres. He then took over as head coach education in the Catalan regional association, while he again became involved from 2007 as a youth coach in the junior department of the Espanyol Barcelona. With the U-19 team he won the 2008 national junior championship and advanced into the sequel to the head coach of the second team of the club up. With this he rose on the end of the season from the Tercera División Segunda División B in the third-class on.

In January 2010, the Swedish club Malmö FF Ruiz committed as assistant coach Roland Nilsson. With the team to Daniel Larsson, Agon Mehmeti, Johan Dahlin, Guillermo Molins and Ulrich Vinzents he took the end of the season the Swedish championship title. After the season, he received an offer from Premier League rivals Halmstad BK, there to cover the post of head coach, which he accepted in early December. Under his leadership, the club slipped to the bottom of the table. After up to half of the season only one victory in 15 games had managed the club released him in early July 2011, and replaced him with Jens Gustafsson.

The Norwegian club Viking FK committed in October 2011 Ruiz as a coach, as the former head coach Åge Hareide took a Manager role in the English style in the future. After June 2012, the club Hareide replaced by Kjell Jonevret, he decided, however, to say goodbye. He left Northern Europe and returned to Spain, where he in July of the year for the upcoming season as coach at Atlético malagueño, the reserve team of FC Málaga, in the fourth division Tercera División is tied.
