Juan Conway McNabb

Juan Conway McNabb OSA ( born December 11, 1925 in Beloit, Wisconsin, United States) is a retired bishop of chulucanas.

Life

Juan Conway McNabb joined the Congregation of the Augustinian and received on 24 May 1952, the ordination. Pope Paul VI. appointed him on March 4, 1964 Prelate of chulucanas and on April 8, 1967 Titular Bishop of Saia Maior.

The Archbishop of Chicago John Patrick Cody ordained him on June 17 of the same year the bishop; Co-consecrators were Petrus Canisius Jean van Lierde OESA, vicar general of the Vatican, and Erasmo Hinojosa Hurtado, Archbishop of Piura. McNabb took part in the third and fourth sessions of the Second Vatican Council. On May 26, 1978, he renounced under the new guidelines of the Roman Curia on his Titularbischofssitz.

On December 12, 1988, he was appointed Bishop of chulucanas. On 28 October 2000, Pope John Paul II accepted his resignation due to age.
