Julia Mombi

Julia Mumbi Muraga (born 25 January 1985) is a Kenyan marathon runner.

In 2006, she finished fourth at the Sapporo Half Marathon and Twelfth at Beijing Marathon. The following year she was fifth at the Nagoya Marathon, again fourth in Sapporo and Kobe won the Half Marathon. In 2008 she won the Miyazaki Half Marathon and finished third at the Osaka Women's Marathon. After a second place in the Sendai Half Marathon and a third in Sapporo, it launched at the World Half Marathon Championships in Rio de Janeiro. As a seventh in the individual competition, they also contributed to winning the silver medal for the Kenyan team. End of the season she defended her title in Kobe.

In 2009, she was named after a tenth place at the RAK Half Marathon Fifth at the Paris Marathon. In Sendai and Sapporo, they were each second, before she came to twelfth place at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin. In the fall, she won the Nagoya Half Marathon.

In 2010 she finished fourth at the Great Scottish Run and seventh in the Amsterdam Marathon. A victory at Reims Marathon in 2011 was followed by a ninth place in the Paris Marathon in 2012.

Julia graduated from the Mumbi Muraga Aomori Yamada High School and started again until 2010 for the company team, the Japanese slot machines manufacturer Aruze, where she was coached by Yoshio Koide.
