Fauberts professional career began in 2002 at AS Cannes. After two seasons and 45 games ( 2 goals), he joined the 2004/05 season to Girondins Bordeaux. Already in the first season at the port city dwellers he became the fixed support and became a regular at the " Dark Blue ". For the season 2007/ 08 he spent € 9.15 million to West Ham United. In a preparation game for the league against the Czech representatives SK Sigma Olomouc Faubert was injured at the Archillesverse. This led to a six-month break after itself. In January 2008, he made his comeback for the reserve team of West Ham. In the same month, 12 January 2008, he celebrated his debut in the Premier League, as it was used just before the final against Fulham.
