Jürgen Heun
Jürgen Heun ( born May 26, 1958 in Günthersleben ) is a former German football player.
Erfurt football player
Jürgen Heun began organizing in the Sports Association Traktor in his hometown Günthersleben football to play before he went to Erfurt in 1968. When FC Rot -Weiß Erfurt Heun became one of the most successful strikers of the DDR - Oberliga and the national football team of the GDR.
Until the dissolution of the GDR Oberliga or NOFV- league in the season 1990/91 achieved the rear sight, as he was nicknamed, in 341 league games for the Red and Whites 114 goals. With the third place in the 1990/91 season the flowers townspeople reached both the direct qualification for the 2nd Bundesliga in the ( re-) united game system as well as the participation in the UEFA Cup.
The European Cup Adventure of the Thuringian second division in the 1991/92 season lasted two rounds ( Heun completed it four games without a hit). After the next round against FC Groningen ( Groningen 1-0 and 1-0 in Erfurt) in round 1 of the Erfurt failed to eventual winners of the competition Ajax Amsterdam ( 1:2 in Erfurt and 0:3 in Dusseldorf ).
The season 1991/92 in the now all-German second Bundesliga was disappointing for the team from the Steigerwald stadium. In the South squadron, the player occupied by the now 33 -year-old Jürgen Heun, who scored seven goals in 29 second-division games, the last place and had to make their way in the third division.
In the season 1992/93 Jürgen Heun took after 25 years as a player Farewell to FC Rot -Weiß Erfurt. With 30 games and 10 goals in this season rear sight Heun increased the number of his league operations for the flowers townspeople to exactly 400 and that of his goals on 131 Both values mean for FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt club record. In the summer of 1993 he moved to SV Landau to be there end his athletic career as player-coach.
In 2000, Jürgen Heun was elected Erfurt footballer of the century. He won the vote by a clear margin before Helmut Nordhaus and Wolfgang Benkert.
Forward selection
The goalscoring and weft strength of the striker was not unnoticed by the selection of coaches of the German Football Association. Heun completed in the late 1970s and early 1980s, seven games in the Olympic team of the GDR, in which he scored a goal. At the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, however, Heun was not there.
His debut for the A national team of the GDR was the player of FC Rot -Weiss Erfurt on May 7, 1980 in Rostock. In an officially out as senior international match which is preparatory to the tournament in Moscow Olympic Team of the GDR against the Soviet Union played in the Baltic Sea Stadium 2-2. By July 2006, he was the coach in Erfurt, but not at FC Rot-Weiß. Heun coached FC Erfurt Nord, who played in the 2005/06 season in the national league Thuringia (5th division). He previously coached the Kindel jumper SV 91 In the 2003/2004 season he went with his team confident of the district league in the country class. In 2006 he moved to SV Arnstadt Rudisleben, now SV 09 Arnstadt. Since the 2012/2013 season, he coached FC Eisenach.
