Jürgen Macho

Jürgen Macho ( born August 24, 1977 in Vienna) is an Austrian football player.
Career
Jürgen Macho played in his youth, first at SC Red Star Vienna and Rapid- young, before he came to the third division Wiener Sport - Club 1996. In 1997 he moved into the Second Division to Vienna, where he was able to establish in a row as number one. 2000 made the jump from Dobling in the English Premier League; Jürgen Macho moved to Sunderland AFC. On 5 November 2009, he agreed with the then Austrian Bundesliga LASK Linz on a contract until the end of the season. Jürgen Macho injured in early March in the match against Sturm Graz 's hand and needed surgery.
In the EURO 2008 Macho was used in all games of the Austrian national team. In the qualifying matches for the 2010 World Cup he did not play.
In June 2010 he joined on a free transfer LASK Linz to Panionios Athens, where he signed a three - year contract. After a very strong first season with Panionios Macho then extended his contract with the Greeks early by one year to 2014.
In the summer of 2011, the goalkeeper but injured so severely that he was out of action until January 2013. After his contract was terminated in Athens in summer 2012, located Macho was being treated in a specialist clinic Augsburg.
