Just Look Around

Just Look Around is the second studio album by the American hardcore band Sick of It All. It was published in October 1992 with Relativity Records. In Europe it was sold via Roadrunner Records. A new edition was released by Century Media, another with EMI.

Formation and style

Like its predecessor, the album in the studio Normandy Sound in Warren, Rhode Iceland was recorded. This time, it was a lack of promotion by the label. The album was a little metal -like and groove -oriented than the first album. It begins with an excerpt from an oath ( "the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help me god" ), after which a further sample from a speech by Ronald Reagan for the Iran - Contra affair follows ( "that we did not, repeat, did not trade weapons or anything else for hostages ").

Reception

Lauri Wessel from Ox- fanzine called it - later remixed by DJ Lethal - title track of one of the strongest Sick -of- it-all songs. " Mid-tempo songs and full-bodied produced guitars " were "the first step toward a groovy hardcore sound ".
