Jusuf Hatunić

Jusuf Hatunić ( born October 17, 1950 in Dobošnica, SFR Yugoslavia, † unknown) was a Yugoslav football player.

Playing career

At a young age played Hatunić for the regional football club FK Željezničar his birthplace Dobošnica and showed very early exceptional defensive qualities. At the age of 19 he went to the then Yugoslavian first division club FK Sloboda Tuzla, with which he could win two years later the Yugoslav Cup. At age 26 he moved to FK Partizan Belgrade and has been there a year later Yugoslavian champion. After a brief stopover at Turkish club Galatasaray, he returned to FK Partizan Belgrade, before he ended his career with the former Yugoslav second division club FK Rad. Jusuf Hatunić took 1972-1978 to part eight games for Yugoslavia and acted there as captain of the national team.

Hatunić played mainly as a defensive midfielder and was considered very robust and physically strong player.
