Juwel

The Société des Cars jewel was a Belgian manufacturer of automobiles from Brussels. The brand name was jewel.

Company History

1922, the company started the production of cars. In 1927 it was renamed the Usine jewel Constructions Automobiles SA. End of 1928, production ended.

Rolling stock

The first two models 6/8 HP and 8/10 HP had a four-cylinder engine with 1131 cc capacity. They differed only in the size of the bodies. Both models were available as a sedan, open touring cars and vans. 1924 appeared the successor 9 HP with the same engine. In December 1928, the prototype TA -4 was shown at the Salon of Brussels. This model had front-wheel drive, but was no longer in series production.

The Société Astra Motors SA further developed the front-wheel drive model and brought it in 1929 as the Astra on the market.
