Kabelo Kgosiemang

Kabelo Kgosiemang ( born January 7, 1986 in Rakhuna ) is a botswanischer high jumper. He holds the national record with 2.34 meters and was skipped in a row since 2006 African champions four times. He trained at the athletics club ATC Cologne, Cologne.

Biography

Kgosiemang was an avid soccer player in his youth and came only at the age of 17 years to athletics. Right away he jumped over 1.95 m, has established itself as one of the best youth - vaulter in Botswana and won the 2005 Africa Junior Championships with 2.16m. This aroused the interest of the German Athletics Association ATC Cologne, which took the African talent in December 2005 under his wing. Kgosiemang paid back the trust by rose within a year at the African Championships to 2.30 m, which gave him his first major title at the senior citizens and at the same time was botswanischer record.

2007 won Kgosiemang 2.27 m, the Pan-African Games in the high jump, qualified for the final battle at the World Championships in Osaka and was 2.26 m ninth. 2008 began for Kgosiemang with some injuries, but then he made at the African Championships for a bang.
