Kaiba

Kaiba (Japaneseカイバ) is an anime television series from the year 2008. The series was awarded the Japan Media Arts Award 2008, awarded by the Japanese Ministry of Culture.

Action

In the future it is possible to store the memories on data carriers and to escape as the death of at least partially. The body dies, but the memories are not lost, they can be transferred to new bodies. But as soon produced a commercial to memories and theft of data. A man named Kaiba wake up one day in an unknown room, he has no memories. He has only one pendant with a photo of a woman in it. After Kaiba was attacked, he flees into space and embarks on a journey to regain his memories. He meets different people and their problems.

Production and publication

The series was produced by the studio Madhouse and directed by Masaaki Yuasa. Masaaki Yuasa also wrote the screenplay. The character design designed Nobutaka Ito. The series was broadcast on 10 April 2008 to 24 June 2008 the station WOWOW in Japan.

The music of the series was composed by Kiyoshi Yoshida. The header title is Never, the credits song Carry me Away, both interpreted by Seira Kagami.
