Masaaki Yuasa

Masaaki Yuasa (Japanese汤 浅 政 明, Masaaki Yuasa, born March 16, 1965 in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan) is a Japanese anime director and animator.

Masaaki Yuasa worked in the 1980s as a key artist for shows like Doraemon or 21 Emon. Today he animated for the new Doraemon movies.

He drew the storyboard and directed the animation of Tetsuo Sato Nekojiru Grass, which was awarded the prize for Best Short Film at the Fantasia Festival in 2001.
