Mohamed Kalilou Traoré ( born September 9, 1987 in Bamako ) is a Malian footballer who plays for FC Sochaux since 2012 and is a member of the Malian national team.

Career

Association

Kalilou Traoré began his career in 2005 at AS Real Bamako. There he took his leave with ten league goals in 43 games. In summer 2006, he signed a contract with the Moroccan club Wydad Casablanca. In July 2007, he was loaned to league rivals Hassania d' Agadir and played twelve games for the club. After one season he returned to Casablanca. In August 2008, Traoré ventured to Europe and joined the Croatian club NK Istra 1961. After a first successful season with nine goals in 27 league games he has been linked with a move to the Premier League rivals Hajduk Split and Dinamo Zagreb. In 2010 he moved to Denmark to Odense BK and conquered was immediately awarded a regular place.

In summer 2012, Traoré joined the French Ligue 1 for FC Sochaux.

National

He graduated since 2010 eleven matches for the Malian national football team. Traoré is part of the 23-man squad for the African Cup of Nations in 2012. Shortly before the start of the African Cup of Nations he had to cancel due to an injury to participate.
