Kaniehtiio Horn also known as Tiio Horn ( * 1986 in Notre- Dame-de- Grâce, Montreal, Quebec ) is a Canadian actress.

Life and career

Kaniehtiio Horn was born in 1986 in Notre- Dame-de- Grâce, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She is of Indian descent, more specifically a Mohawk and comes from the Mohawk Kahnawake reserve. Her mother - Kahn Tineta Horn was a model and sat down politically for the rights of the Kahnawake First Nation a. Horn has six older Schwestern.1990, at the age of four years, Horn was there with her sister Waneek Horn- Miller and her mother in the Oka crisis. Her sister was being injured by a soldier with a bayonet at the hip as she held horn on the arm. A photo of the incident was published on the front pages of Canadian newspapers and became a symbol of the uprising between Mohawks and the Canadian government. Later Waneek Horn -Miller was co- captain of the Canadian women's water polo team at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, despite this injury.

Kaniehtiio horn first major role was in 2006 in the CBC mini- series Indian Summer: The Oka Crisis. In 2007, she starred in the drama The Colony. They also took on the role of Evelyn in the thriller The Wild Hunt by director Alexandre Franchi.
