Kara Region

Kara is a region with the capital of Togo Kara.

Geography

The region is located in the central north of the country, bordered to the north by the region Savanes, to the south by the Region Centrale, on the west by Ghana and Benin to the east.

Kara is divided into seven prefectures:

  • Doufelgou (NO, capital: Niamtougou )
  • Bimah (O, capital: Pagouda )
  • Kozah (O, capital Kara )
  • Assoli (S, Capital: Bafilo )
  • Bassar ( SW capital: Bassar )
