Karabağlar is a district in the Turkish province of Izmir and at the same time a municipality of Büyükşehir Belediyesi ( city municipality ) Izmir.

The center of Karabağlar is located south of the center of İzmir, the county southwest of it. It is bordered to the north by Konak, on the northwest by Balçova and Narlıdere, on the west by Bayraklı, to the south by Menderes and Gaziemir and on the east by Buca.

Karabağlar was declared on 6 March 2008 Cabinet decision to the district.
