Karl Honz

Karl Honz ( born January 28, 1951 in Bankholzen ) is a former German track and field athlete and Olympic athlete who was successful in the 400 -meter run in the first half of the 1970s.

In 1971, he went at the European Championships in Helsinki in the 200 - meter race at the start, but did not come via the feed addition.

In the following years he was twice German champion over 400 meters, and indeed in 1972 with 44.70 s ( European record ) before Bernd Herrmann and Hermann Köhler and 1972 with 45.60 s before Horst -Rüdiger Schlöske and Hermann Köhler.
