Kaset Wisai District

Amphoe Kaset Wisai ( Thai: อำเภอ เกษตรวิสัย ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the southwestern province of Roi Et Roi Et The province is located in Isaan, the northeast region of Thailand.

Geography

Amphoe Kaset Wisai borders the following districts (from north clockwise): the Amphoe Chaturaphak Phiman, Mueang Suang and Suwannaphum in the province of Roi Et, at Amphoe Phayakkhaphum Phisai the province of Maha Sarakham, at Amphoe Pathum Council again in Roi Et, and Amphoe Wapi Pathum of Maha Sarakham province of.

History

The county was originally named Nong Waeng, 1939, he was renamed Kaset Wisai.

Administrative units

Amphoe Kaset Wisai in 13 communes ( tambon) divided, in turn, in 175 communities ( Muban ) are divided.

There are three small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district:

• Kaset Wisai ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล เกษตรวิสัย ), consisting of parts of the tambon Kaset Wisai,
• Mueang Bua ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล เมือง บัว ), consisting of the whole tambon Mueang Bua,
• Ku Ka Sing ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล กู่ กา สิงห์ ), consisting of parts of the Tambon Ku Ka Sing

There are also 12 Tambon Administration Organizations ( " Tambon Administrative Organizations" - TAO, Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ).
