Kaspichan

Kaspichan [ kaspitʃɐn ] ( Bulg Каспичан ) is a town in northeastern Bulgaria. The city is located in the Oblast Shumen, near the cities of Novi Pazar and Pliska. The city Kaspichan is the administrative center of the homonymous municipality Kaspichan.

Location

The Kaspichan is located about 70 km northwest of Varna from the Danube ports of Rousse and Silistra with its Black Sea port and each about 120 km. With Varna and Shumen, the city is connected by the A2 highway, which should lead to to Sofia.

The Kaspichan is an important railway transportation hub in Northeast Bulgaria, it connects the North East with the West of Bulgaria and North Bulgaria with Southern Bulgaria ( railway lines: Varna - Ruse and Varna - Shumen - Gorna Oryahovitsa - Sofia

Community Kaspichan

The municipality Kaspichan is centrally located in northeastern Bulgaria. It borders the municipalities of Shumen, Novi Pazar and Provadiya. The municipality consists of seven villages. Through the community, the Hemus motorway linking Sofia with Varna runs.
