Kazuno, Akita

Kazuno (Japanese鹿角 市, - shi) is a city located in Akita Prefecture on Honshu, the main island of Japan.

Geography

Kazuno located northeast of Akita and south of Aomori. On the city's area is the 1,366 m high Akita - Yake -yama and the 1,613 m high Hachimantai the Ou Mountains.

Through the city flows the Yoneshiro -gawa.

History

Kazuno was appointed on 1 April 1972 Shi.
