Keith Baxter (drummer)

Keith Baxter ( born February 19, 1971 in Lancaster, † January 4, 2008 in Lancaster ) was a British rock musician.

Life

Baxter belonged in 1990 to the founding members of the folk metal band Skyclad. By 1995, he was the drummer for the band, before he founded the group 3 Colours Red with Pete Vuckovic, Chris McCormack and Ben Harding. With the band, he succeeded in the Brit rock wave in the late 1990s chart success. The first two albums were placed in the top 20 of the chart and the single Beautiful Day missed with an eleventh place as the best finish just under the top 10

After the band broke up for the first time in 1999, he founded, among others, the band Elevator Vuckovic. In 2002 he replaced at some concerts briefly in Therapy? the drummer Graham Hopkins stepped out. When 3 Colours Red 2003 merged again, he was back on drums; However, in 2005 the band split again.

Baxter died in January 2008 of gastrointestinal bleeding.
