Kévin Igier

Kévin Igier ( born March 4, 1987 in Paris ) is a French ice hockey player who stands since 2012 at the Ducs de Dijon in the French Ligue Magnus under contract.

Career

Kévin Igier began his career as a hockey player in the junior department of Rouen Hockey Élite 76 for the U18 and U22 junior he was active between 2003 and 2007. In parallel he collected from 2004 to 2007 match practice at HC Le Havre in the third-class Division 2 In addition, the defender between 2005 and 2007 was in 18 games for Rouen professional team in the Ligue Magnus, the highest French league on the ice. In the summer of 2007 Igier moved within the Ligue Magnus to the Ducs d' Angers, where he was a regular in the next three years and where he became the A-National player. In 2010 he was also elected to the All-Star team in the Ligue Magnus.

After Igier had begun the season 2010/11 in Angers, he left the club after just five appearances and joined the League rival Chamonix Hockey Club. By the end of the season he scored for the traditional club in 21 games two goals and three assists. For the 2011/12 season Igier returned back to the Ducs d' Angers. In summer 2012 he was engaged by the Ducs de Dijon.

Internationally

For France Igier took at junior level at the U18 Junior B World Cup 2005 and the U20 Junior B World Championships in 2006 and 2007 in part. In the senior level, he stood in the squad of France to the A World Championships in 2009 and 2010.
