Kim Basinger

Kimila Anna Basinger [ beɪsɪŋɡəɹ ] ( born December 8, 1953 in Athens, Georgia ) is an American actress.

Life

Basinger was born as the third of five children of jazz musician Don Basinger and his wife Ann, a synchronized swimmer, who had been involved in Esther Williams films. So it was the show business from childhood familiar. As a young woman she received ballet classes and won beauty contests in Georgia. In the early 1970s she moved to New York and became a model. In addition to working as a well-paid model forming, she took private acting lessons and played in small theaters in Greenwich Village Theater.
