Kim Bodnia

Kim Bodnia ( born April 12, 1965 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish film and theater actor.

Life

His film debut was in 1989 with Bodnia a small role in the Danish movie En Afgrund af frihed of director Peter Eszterhas. In 1991 he graduated from the Statens teater skole (National Theatre School Copenhagen). After several roles in the theater in 1994, he managed the breakthrough in the film Nightwatch - Nightwatch and was awarded the Robert of Robert for his role festival. Two years later he appeared in the film Pusher. Several films he made with director Lasse Spang Olsen, including In China They Eat Dogs from 1999 and its prequel Old Men in New Cars - In China They Eat Dogs 2

In 2001, he was with the short film Escape - Flugten fra ensomheden his debut as a director. For this film he also wrote the screenplay. Bodnia is the actress Lotte Andersen ( born March 18, 1963) married, which is also in the film Night Watch - has starred vigil. Together they have one child.
