Kim Nam-il

Kim Nam- il ( born March 14, 1977 in Incheon, South Korea) is a South Korean football player.

Career

Kim Nam- il began as a student with the football games. First, as an attacking midfielder active, he was guided under Guus Hiddink to a more defensive style of play. His breakthrough celebrated then also in the national team at the 2002 World Championships and even became the symbol of a successful team. Previously, relatively unknown, many companies tried to use his popularity for advertising campaigns and Kim was able to conclude lucrative advertising contracts.

In Following the tournament, Kim moved on loan to Excelsior Rotterdam, he hoped to like his compatriot Song Chong - gug, at Feyenoord Rotterdam playing. However, he did not sustainable to convince and returned to his original club Chunnam Dragons.

Kim then moved in 2004 in exchange for Ko Jong -soo to Suwon Samsung Bluewings, with whom he was in 2004 and 2008 Korean champions. A foot injury in late 2005 threatened its use at the 2006 World Cup, but he was healthy again in time and was able to participate in the tournament.
