Kim Vilfort
Kim Vilfort (* November 15, 1962 in Copenhagen, Denmark ) is a Danish former football player and current youth coordinator at Brøndby IF. With the Danish national team, he won the 1992 European title. In the final, he managed a goal in the 2-0 victory over Germany.
The majority of his career he spent at Brøndby IF, with whom he won seven league titles. With a total of 110 goals scored in official matches for Brøndby he is the record scorer of the club.

Club career
Career start
Vilfort began his career in the youth of Skovlunde IF. In 1981, he signed his first contract for the first team at the then second division club BK Frem Copenhagen. As a striker obliged he was retrained at Frem the attacking midfielder, which had no change in his Torgefahr result. OSC Lille

Except for the season 1989, in which one had to be beaten just three points behind the surprise team Odense BK, one was the measure of all things in Denmark and each won the championship.
In the UEFA Cup of the season 1990/91 we saw again at the European level for sensation. After victories against the favored Bayer 04 Leverkusen and Torpedo Moscow, they even drew one to the semi-finals of the competition, in which one, however, the Roma were beaten with a total score of 1:2 up. Vilfort was considered the überrangede players on the team and was honored after the season to the Danish Player of the Year.
Due to the success of the stars of the team, however, were interesting for clubs from all over Europe, so it came to the playing time in 1991 to the collapse of the team, of which Brøndby could not recover for years.
Had the departure of Brian Laudrup to Bayer Uerdingen still able to compensate well the new young star Ronnie Ekelund, you no longer managed this in the case of disposals of Schmeichel, Christensen, Jensen and Frank Pingel. After end of his career he took over the post of Youth Coordinator at Brøndby he pauses until today.
Together with John Jensen, he is regarded as the role model of Brøndby IF. During his time at the club he reached such popularity that the Brøndby Stadium is referred to by fans as " Vilfort Stadium ".
National
Even as Skovlunde player he came in the Danish U -17 and U-19 selection to use. at BK Frem Copenhagen he became then 1982 U -21 and 1983 also for A-National player.
Although he henceforth belonged to the extended squad of the national team, he was not taken in the final cadres of his country for the 1984 European Championship and World Cup 1986
His first major tournament he played until 1988 as a member of the Danish banns for the 1988 European Championship in Germany. In the heavily outdated team around players like Søren Lerby, Preben Larsen Elkjær or Morten Olsen, he came in the preliminaries against Germany and Italy used.
