Kirch (crater)

Kirch is a small crater in the eastern part of the Mare Imbrium, a big moon sea in the northwestern quadrant of the moon. It is relatively isolated and naächstliegende comparable crater is Piazzi Smyth in the Northeast. In about the same distance, the single peak of Mons Piton rises in east - northeasterly direction.
