Kirsten van de Ven

Kirsten Johanna Maria van de Ven (born 11 May 1985 in Heesch ) is a Dutch football player. Since 2010 she plays in the Swedish first division Tyresö FF.

Club career

Van de Ven began playing football at HVC Heesch, in the boys team. At 18, she went to study in the United States. With the team the Bobcats of Quinnipiac University in Hamden (Connecticut) she played in the Northeast Conference. She has been involved in 18 games to 23 of 27 goals this season the Bobcats: twelve she achieved even, eleven prepared them. In its first year, the attacking midfielder has been selected in their league, both for newcomer as well as the Player of the Year; it was only the second player, which this was achieved in the history of NEC.

After a year, she joined the University and studied at Florida State in Tallahassee. Here she played for three years. During the semester break in 2008 she trained for several weeks at Willem II After she completed her studies in Psychology with the tests as a bachelor, she returned to the Netherlands and joined in the winter break 2007/ 08 Willem II. In the Eredivisie, it achieved until the end of the 2008/ 09 ten goals in 24 games. Since 2010 she plays in the Swedish first division Tyresö FF.

National

Van de Ven has already played in the U- 17 national team, among others, together with Marije Brummel and Manon Melis. She had already completed 33 games with ten goals in the U-19 national team, as she made her debut in the A- team in August 2004. To August 2009 was followed by 27 more matches; Once, however, she was able to score a goal for Oranje. Kirsten van de Ven part of the team from the Netherlands is the European Championship finals in Finland.
