Klaus Langhoff

Klaus Langhoff ( born December 5, 1939 in Rostock ) is a German handball coach and former handball player.

He began his career in Rostock and 1953 DDR Champion with motor Rostock, later moving to SC DHfK Leipzig, with whom he DDR champion several times.

During his active time of Handball changed from large field in the hall.

Langhoff was in the squad of the national handball team of the German Democratic Republic (GDR). He was with the national team in the field Handball World Championship ( World Cup ) 1963 World Cup, played at the hall 's World Handball Championship in 1964, the Field Handball World Championship 1966 ( Vice World Champion ), the handball World Cup in 1967 and the hall 's World Handball Championship 1970 ( Vice World Champion ). He also played at the Olympics in 1972.

After his playing career, he was handball coach at SC Leipzig. He trained with Paul Tiedemann GDR selection that won the gold medal at the Olympics in 1980.

Langhoff is coach of the German Handball Federation. By December 2004 he was head of the DHB youth coach.
