Konkovo District
Konkovo (Russian Коньково ) is a district of Moscow, in the Southwest County. The population was 140,000 inhabitants on 1 January 2010.
Konkovo is adjacent to the neighborhoods Tjoply Stan, Jassenewo, Birdcherrylands and Obrutschewski. Southeast of the district, the Bitza - park closes at. Since Konkovo is in the area of so-called Tjoply - standard heights, it belongs with a maximum height of approximately 250 m to the most elevated places in Moscow.
The present district was formed in 1991 with the last reform Moscow region and is located on the site of the former villages Troizkoje - Konkovo , Sergijewskoje - Konkovo and Beljajewo.
