Korekyojinn
( Also written Korekyojin ) Korekyojinn (是 巨人) is a Japanese progressive rock power trio. The band, founded in 1998 is a project of members of different bands of the versatile Japanese Progressive Rock / Zeuhl scene and released albums on John Zorn's Tzadik label, as well as on the Japanese label Magaibutsu. The band's name in Japanese means " the giant" and is a pun on the name of the band This Heat and Gentle Giant.
Drummer Tatsuya Yoshida, owner of the label Magaibutsu, founded Ruins and is active among others in Koenjihyakkei and Daimonji. Bassist Mitsuro Nasuno was a member of the jazz -core band Ground Zero and is also a member of Daimonji; Guitarist Natsuki Kido is a member of Bondage Fruit.
