Korn III - Remember Who You Are (English for " Korn III - Remember who you are" ) is the ninth studio album by the American nu-metal band Korn. It was released on July 13, 2010 by Roadrunner Records. The album was recorded in quartet line with the new drummer Ray Luzier, who was only live member before.

Formation

Korn collaborated again with Ross Robinson, who has already produced the first two albums of the band. The longtime drummer David Silveria had left the band during the recording process for untitled predecessor, for it was with Ray Luzier now a solid alternative. The album was recorded in contrast to its predecessors with lower use of Pro Tools. The band described it as " raw " than the previous ones and as " old school". Korn singer Jonathan Davis said previously, a large part of the album deal with " organized religion ". After an expired contract for two albums with Virgin Records, this album was released on Roadrunner Records. The title refers to the fact that the band wants to build on the first two albums Korn and Life Is Peachy.

Reception

Ronny Bittner pointed in Rock Hard out that the band is indeed the energy of the first two panels Operating the, but, based around the chorus, certainly anknüpfe also in later publications such issues. He spoke of a "successful comeback " and awarded eight out of ten.
