Kostolište

Kostolište (Slovak to 1948 " Kiripolec " - to 1927 " Kiripolce "; German rarely Church Square, Hungarian Egyházhely - to 1907 Kiripolc ) a municipality in Okres Malacky within the Bratislavskı is kraj in Slovakia.

Geography

The place is located in the Záhorská nížina ( Zahorie lowlands ) in the Zahorie and is just 4 km west of the city Malacky.

History

In the land of the present-day municipality was briefly at the end of the 4th century, a Roman- barbarian settlement. Kostolište was first mentioned in a document from 1271 as Kilpiruis.
