Kostolné

Kostolné (Hungarian Nagyegyházas - to 1902 Kosztolna ) is a municipality in western Slovakia.

Location and General Description

The name of the village was first mentioned in 1392 as Koztolna.

The municipality is located in the hill country between the Little Carpathians in the south and the White Carpathians in the north. Nové Mesto nad Váhom is located about 15 kilometers east of the community, Myjava about 5 kilometers to the west, Senica about 35 kilometers to the west.
