Kristijan Ipša

Kristian Ipša [ kristian ipʃa ] ( born April 4, 1986 in Pula) is a Croatian footballer with Italian grandfather.

The center-back started in 1992 when NK Funtana playing football before he moved to NK Jadran Poreč 1997. As of July 1999 Ipša played in the youth of the Croatian top clubs NK Varteks Varaždin, where he aufrückte into the first team over the years and was a regular player.

For the 2007/08 season the defensive player moves to Energie Cottbus. The Lusatians he signed a contract running until 2010, which includes a simplified side option on a contract extension. On November 2, 2007, he contested the first Bundesliga game for Cottbus, when he came on in the 90th minute in the match against FC Schalke 04. Overall, it was used in the season four times in the first team, including two games over 90 minutes. In addition, he came to two inserts in the second team.

In the summer of 2008 Ipša moved to Denmark for FC Midtjylland.

Kristian Ipša was captain of the U-21 national team of Croatia, replacing in this function Luka Modrić.
