Kronos (Band)

Kronos is a Brutal Death Metal band from France. Your name goes back to the Titan Kronos, father of Zeus in Greek mythology.

History

Kronos was founded in 1994 in Thaon -les -Vosges Grams, Marot, Jeremy and Mike. The band played at this time a mixture of heavy metal and thrash metal. Two years later Tems replaced the guitarist Marot and Kristof joined the band on vocals. Kronos began to play from now on Death Metal and they took the demo Outrance on. 1999 replaced Tom (20 years) Jéremy. The band is now more on Brutal Death Metal oriented. In the following year, together with the Divine None Demo Split Promo 2000, which includes four titles, finished.

The first album Titan 's Awakening was released in 2001. The first edition of the album was produced by the band itself. The band was well received by the critics and the first contract with Warpath Records (formerly Shockwave) was signed. A reprint of the first Titan 's Awakening was released in late October of the same year.

Richard replaced Tems and played from 2003, the lead guitar. The band signed for two more albums bem Spanish label of Dave Rotten, Xtreem Music.

The second album Colossal Titan Strife was released in 2004 and was promoted on a tour of Europe in 2005.

The third album, The Hellenic Terror was released in April 2007.

Style

Stylistically, the band 's formative for the processing of myths, particularly Greek, in their texts. Also characteristic is the high speed and high technical style of play in the pieces. The band is described as a mixture of Decapitated, Aborted and Necrophagist.
