Kwadwo Baah-Wiredu

Kwadwo Baah Wiredu - Hon ( born 1952 in Agogo, † September 24, 2008 in South Africa) was a Ghanaian politician. In addition to his seat in Parliament of Ghana for Asante Akyem North constituency he was in the government under President John Agyekum Kufuor of Finance and Minister of Economic Planning.

Baah Wiredu - visited 1967-1972 high school in Kumasi. He made his G.C.E. and enrolled in 1972-1974 in a Prempeh College. At the University of Ghana in Legon, a suburb of Accra, he studied and Administrative Sciences. In 1981 he enrolled at the Institute for auditing and closed this in 1985 as an auditor from.

He has worked in his professional career for many companies, including Ghana were Airways Corporation and the Volta River Authority, most recently he was a partner in the consulting firm Asante Wiredu and Associates as well as Ananse system as a financial manager and consultant in the IT department operates.

In the election year 1992, he ran for a parliamentary seat, but could not get into parliament because of the boycott. In the elections of 1996, 2000 and 2004, however, he won the constituency Asante Akyem North and since then has been a Member of Parliament.

He was from 2001 to 2003 Minister of Local and Rural Development, 2003-2005 Minister of Education, Youth and Sports and from Yaw Osafo - Maafo followed in 2005 in the Office of the Minister of Finance and Economic Planning. Baah Wiredu - died on 24 September 2008 in a South African hospital.
