La Vallée-de-l'Or Regional County Municipality
La Vallée- de - l'Or is a regional county municipality (French municipalité régional du comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Quebec.
It is located in the administrative region Abitibi- Témiscamingue and consists of eleven subordinate administrative units ( three cities, two churches, a diocese and five unincorporated areas). The MRC Vallée- de - l'Or was founded on April 8, 1981. In 2003, she became the MRC La Vallée- de - l'Or. The main town is Val- d'Or. The population is 43,252 and the area 24104.1 km ², which corresponds to a population density of 1.8 inhabitants per km ².
