Lac de Salanfe

The Lac de Salanfe is a reservoir in the municipality Evionnaz in the canton of Valais in Switzerland.

The nearest town is VERNAYAZ. From there, an approximately 6.5 -km-long mountain road in a westerly direction leads to the reservoir.

History

The dam was completed in 1952 Salanfe. Since then, visible flows less water over the well-known waterfall " Pissevache " (Eng. " Pinkel Cow ") at VERNAYAZ.
