Lac Minto (English Lake Minto; Inuktitut: Qasigialik ( "Where there is largha Seal " ) ) is a lake in the west of the Ungava Peninsula, in the region of Nunavik in the Canadian province of Québec.

He has a total area ( including islands ) km ² and a water area of 703 km ² of 761.

He was nominated by the 4th Canadian explorer and geologist Albert Peter Low in 1898 by Gilbert Elliot - Murray - Kynynmound Earl of Minto, who was Governor General of Canada at that time.

It is located only 60 km east of the Hudson Bay in a valley surrounded by several hills. Its outflow, the Rivière aux Feuilles, flowing about 265 km to the north-east to Ungava Bay. It is therefore suitable for paddlers who want to cross the Ungava Peninsula in the east.

He is considered one of the most beautiful lakes in northern Quebec.
