The Pielavesi is a lake in the Finnish countryside Savo.

The lake is approximately 23 km long and has an area of ​​110.1 km ². It is 102.3 meters above sea level. On the south shore of the lake the center of the homonymous municipality Pielavesi is. The Pielavesi is fed by the outflow of the lakes Koivu Järvi and Lampaanjärvi. At the southern end of the lake is the drain in the south-west to neighboring lake Nilakka.
